On-Site Facilities Caretaker – Journey Home Housing
Presbyterian Night Shelter is known for serving the homeless in greatest need: those who have no other places to go. Those who present the greatest challenge to our community are welcome here. As the largest homeless shelter in Tarrant County, we serve approximately 1,000 men, women and children each night.

Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere for the Quail Trail and Seminary properties.
Under the supervision of the Property Manager the On-Site Facilities Caretaker cleans all public and staff areas in the buildings owned by Presbyterian Night Shelter.
- General janitorial duties for public, staff, offices, and community center areas
- Help set up and/or clean up after community center events
- Water indoor plants
- Clean laundry room as needed
- Pick up trash around property
- Pull weeds in flower beds around community center
- Will be required to drive between properties as needed.
Qualifications
Knowledge of cleaning procedures and janitorial techniques
Ability to work independently
Ability to work varied schedules including weekend and early morning shifts
A strong commitment to service others
Must have valid driver license
Rate of Pay
$12.00 per hour
