Presbyterian Night Shelter is known for serving the homeless in greatest need: those who have no other places to go.  Those who present the greatest challenge to our community are welcome here.  As the largest homeless shelter in Tarrant County, we serve approximately 1,000 men, women and children each night.

Job Summary

Responsible for the scheduling and oversite of the Journey Home Program Case Reviews in the Karl Travis Men’s Center and the Lowdon-Schutts Women’s Center. The purpose of these regular case reviews is to create accountability for guests and their Journey Home Guides to quickly exit guests from homelessness into permanent housing.  Also responsible for weekly review of the True Worth Place Housing and Income Connections eligibility.



A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field is required, social work degree strongly preferred.

Experience working with diverse and/or difficult populations desired.

Minimum of one year working with diverse populations, homeless services preferred. 

Experience working with individuals with mental illness is preferred.

Current knowledge of the local network of services preferred.

Must have strong organizational skills.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel is required.

Valid driver license and proof of liability insurance is required.
